Our geotechnical engineers Art Graff and founder Bryce Bauer, professional geologist Greg Sarganis, certified engineering geologist, Steve Klick and engineer Jessie Polino have collectively been providing local geotechnical engineering and geologic services for well over 100 years in Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Lake and Mendocino counties as well in the Central Valley. Each of our professional staff has performed many geotechnical investigations and supervised construction services for varied commercial, municipal and residential projects. Our geologists have performed numerous geologic hazard reports including faults studies, slope stability and coastal bluff studies. We have provided services for numerous large and small projects on hillside and flatland sites since Bauer Associates began in 1988

Our senior field engineers have more than 50 years of combined experience on hundreds of grading projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites. They are fully certified and equipped and trained to perform field density tests, observe foundation excavations, and perform field concrete testing and special inspection services for reinforcing steel, epoxy, etc.
